Problem that Reliance Jio is facing

It has been reported that in many of Reliance Digital stores in Delhi there were long queues of people for SIM cards. But then the stores were being able to issue SIM card because of some technical issue that they were facing. The customers who are being sent back are getting annoyed as it has been three days now that the stores have been blaming of server errors.

The operators of the Reliance Digital stores have said that the bar code that is being generated by the Jio app is not being identified by the system and the screen is just flashing server down.

The customers who are being returned from the Reliance stores are questioning the Reliance operators about the fact that how the local shops are giving Jio SIM at Rs.300 or Rs.200, and that too fully activated, and the Reliance Store is not being able to.

Most of the Reliance stores are facing this problem and because of this the Reliance Store located in Sagarpur area and Sadar Bazar region of Delhi eventually closed during the day.

The server problem is becoming a big problem for the Reliance Digital stores. They have a target of selling at least 60 SIMs in a day. But because of the server error they are not able to meet the target.  One of the operators from the Reliance store said that on an average they sell around 200 SIMs in a day. But from the past three to four days they have not sold even a single SIM.

But then many people are accusing the Reliance Digital stores of selling the SIMs to the local shops and then pretending to have a situation of failed server. But then when certain local shops were contacted for getting the details of their source from where they get the Jio SIMs, the local shopkeepers refused to reveal any details. Reliance Company has still not commented anything on the server failure problem, and also the source of the local shops selling Jio SIMs remains unknown.
